This Privacy Policy explains what information Relay (“Relay”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the Relay Chrome extension and this website, and how we use it.
Summary
- Relay saves the titles and links of the AI chats you add to your projects. It never stores the content of your conversations.
- You sign in with Google. We use your email address, name and profile picture only to identify your account.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Relay never sees or stores your card number.
- We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google through our authentication provider.
Your workspace. To organize your chats, Relay stores:
- the names, order and folders of the projects you create;
- for each chat you add to a project: the AI service (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok), the chat’s identifier, its title and its URL;
- whether you have completed onboarding.
Relay reads chat titles and links from the sidebar of the supported AI services so it can show them in your projects. It does not read, collect or store the messages inside your conversations.
Billing information. If you buy Relay Pro, Stripe processes your payment. We store only the identifiers Stripe gives us (customer, subscription or checkout identifiers), the price you chose, the subscription status and the current billing period. We do not receive or store your card details.
Information stored on your device. The extension keeps your sign-in session and some display settings in Chrome’s extension storage on your computer.
We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools in the extension.
How we use information
- to provide Relay: showing and syncing your projects, folders and chats across your computers;
- to manage your plan (Free or Pro) and your subscription or purchase;
- to respond to your support requests;
- to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Where your data is stored
Your workspace and account data are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, in its Asia Pacific (Sydney, Australia) region. Payments are handled by Stripe. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Depending on where you live, this means your data may be stored and processed outside your country.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above to operate Relay, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can remove chats, folders and projects from Relay at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below and we will delete it within 30 days, except for records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (such as payment records).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Contact us to make a request.
Children
Relay is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the extension.
